Meet Dr. Youngsun Kim

Dr. Kim earned his. B.S. in Physical Therapy From Sahmyook Universityand completed his Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions . He holds board certifications in Orthopaedic and Sports Clinical Specialties From the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties, along with advanced certifications in Manual Therapy, Neuro-Developmental Techniques (NDT), SFMA Level II, and TPI Level III from Titleist Performance Institute


His extensive training includes a year-long orthopedic manual therapy course and a three-year fellowship/mentorship program with theAmerican Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists. Dr. Kim also served in the Korean Army as a Secret Service operative, providing medical support for two Korean presidents.


As the former Director of Rehabilitation at Palmdale Regional Medical Center, he led an outpatient clinic ranked in the top 1% nationally on patient satisfaction and outcomes, as recognized by Press Ganey.


Beyond his professional achievements, Dr. Kim is a devoted husband to his wife, Jina, and a proud father to their two sons, Samuel and Kevin. Their family enjoys outdoor adventures like camping, hiking, fishing, kayaking, and sports like soccer, basketball, volleyball, and golf.


Dr. Kim founded FASCIAFIT to train and empower hands-on therapists with the most effective and efficient techniques for diagnosing and treating the human fascia. He firmly believes in unlocking the body’s natural healing power through targeted manual therapy rather than invasive treatments. His guiding principles?
